Poppy fields during flowering are considered one of the most beautiful sights. The bright red color of the poppies against the green grass creates a stunning visual effect. Many people come specifically to admire these fields and take photos.

There are many places in the world where you can admire poppy fields. Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia have many poppy fields, but the largest number of wild poppies can be seen in California in the USA.

In addition to their beauty, poppy fields also have a symbolic meaning. In some cultures, they are associated with the memory of the dead, especially in connection with the First World War, where poppies became a symbol of memory of soldiers who died in Flanders.
