Rainbow Valley is one of the most unusual and photogenic places in northern Chile. Located near San Pedro de Atacama, Valle del Arcoiris gets its name from its multicolored mountain slopes, shimmering in shades of red, yellow, green, and white. These colors are the result of millions of years of geological processes and mineral deposits.
