OLEG GAPONYUKWas born in 1970. I live in Russia, Moscow I graduated Moscow Engineering and Physical Institute as engineer-mathematician. My hobby is a photo, especially panoramic photo, alpine skis, windsurfing, kiting, diving, guitar and keyboard musical instruments, PocketPC, computer, jokes, tequila and travelling. To get a good photo I can go to another end of the Earth, the sense of humor helps me to see unordinary and curious things in the most unexpected situations and tequila's effect can scarcely be overestimated! My traditional photos can be viewed here and here or here Contact phone: +7 (495) 729-4250 ANDREY ZUBETZI'm 50, I live in Russia, Moscow I graduated Leningrad Institute of Cinema-Engineers (truly, its name is complicated now - Saint Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television). I am keen on a photograph, computer technologies and different devices' construction. A few years ago I keened on a panoramic photo and in particular - spherical one. I wrote the series of articles in Russian in order to make this kind of creation, which is on the boarder of technology and art, more popular. There is a patent for the method of multiple-lane spherical panoramas photo-shooting without using a tripod and panoramas' heads. I like to construct and make different devices for the panoramic photograph. Now my friend and colleague Oleg Gaponyuk uses my devices, methods and developments for a ground, traditional and air-panoramic photograph. Last year I practice the investigation, collection and placement of the panoramas using Flash technologies. In my opinion, now it is one of the most progressive methods of the spherical panoramas and virtual tours playback. SERGEY SEMENOVWas born in 1983. My first conscious acquaintance with photography happened in 2003 when a 1.3 Mp digital simple hand-held camera appeared in my hands. I was highly impressed by the ability to view the results on the screen! After that I became a fan of photography and gave it all my free time. Although I graduated the University with the honor degree in the sphere of International Economy and I was even working at that sphere for 7 years, thanks to the crisis I have sharply changed everything: office for home and travels, suit for fleece jacket, leather case for photo-rucksack, notebook for computer with two enormous screens, Excel and SAP for Photoshop ;) Inexpressible romantics and beauty of the secluded corners of Northern America national parks, Patagonia's mountains, glacier lagoons of Iceland, sand of the Sahara, jungles of Brazil as well as attractiveness and energy of big cities are the sources of my inspiration. The desire to share my impressions with those who can't travel due to different circumstances led me to the project AirPano.com. The sense of the project itself is to show the people the most beautiful places of our planet in the manner that nobody has ever seen them before: from the bird's-eye view with unlimited freedom of vision and movement. You can find my photos on the site www.SergeSemenov.com and here SERGEY RUMYANTSEVWas born in 1974 Like it often happens - University degree doesn't help in profession's choosing. Having graduated the 2-nd Medical Institute and obtained degree of specialist in Medical Cybernetics, as well as having had an experience in science and not found the financial base needed in the frameworks of difficult "free market" conditions of today, I began to program and create web-sites. Programming showed me the way to New Zealand where my interest to landscape photography woke up... I could get experience in this sphere thanks to extremely beautiful nature. Since then I have always taken a camera with me if I travel and the world around me is seen through a viewfinder. Hundreds of film, thousands of shots and more than one hundred kilometers along the roads of that country didn't waste my time. Many image-banks began to purchase my works; my first publications as well as advertising projects appeared. Except my favorite classical landscape photography I also shoot with great pleasure city views and architecture. A separate hobby is a shooting of panoramas. Finally, it led me into AirPano.com project. In spite of photography is just a favorite serous hobby for me, I pay it much attention and devoted it a lot of time. I write articles for different Russian photo editions, realize different projects with Photo&Video magazine being its regular author, take part (and even often win) in number of Russian and international photo-contests. DMITRY MOISEENKOWas born in Kaliningrad (Konigsberg), which is near the Baltic Sea, in 1966. My career of photographer, like many others, began in a photography study group using the camera "Smena 8Ě" and photographic enlarger in the bathroom and taking part as a pupil in a regional creative works contest. I left the most western city of my country for its capital in order to study in one of Moscow Universities and become a biochemist and then an international layer too. The crucial point was the film Koyaanisqatsi by Godfrey Reggio with incredible and extremely beautiful landscapes which were shot, as I thought that moment, all over the world... Exactly that time I promised to myself that I would personally see them all. During 2002-2003 I was working with pleasure on the TV-channel NTV and ran Faraway Travelling rubric. Business was an easy game in comparison with the program's creation. I did many things independently: I solely planned the routs, shot, spoke for camera, took an interview, cut, wrote texts and told about travels during live broadcast! Several years after NTV I could not make myself to use a video-camera. The only way was a purchasing of digital photo-camera. Nikon D70 opened a new stage in my life. The National Geographic Traveler Russia, the Photodelo and the Stolichny Style magazines began to publish my articles about exotic countries with photos. Being the correspondent of NG I told about travelling on Domashniy TV-channel. Before, I traveled round more than 60 countries holding the video-camera and microphone in my mouth for months. Now my best friends are more and more becoming heavy backpack and a helicopter shooting set. Some of my photos you can see here MIKE REYFMANWas born in Kharkov in 1961. I graduated the Art College, specialization - portrait, then graduated the architectural faculty of the Institute. The first my teacher was the father who was in love with photography. He made everything himself ending with color film development. It was the time when in my native Kharkov they were not be able to make it professionally even in the laboratories. So, I have known "the chemistry of the process" since I was a child. I have both known and loved it. During the period of Perestroika together with the partners I founded a small printing business which then was transformed into the largest printery in Eastern Ukraine. The need in a creative self-expression, the ardor for photography and travels "to the ends of the earth" finally won and, having left the beneficiary business, I could drastically change my life. It was a complicated but well-timed and right decision. Together with my wife Margarita we opened and are efficiently developing the advertising agency. The numerous advertising campaigns were created and realized on the basis of my photos and concepts. My publications appeared in photo and travel magazines. I began to take part and win in the international contests and exhibitions. I travel much, organize and lead photo-expeditions for the people like me addicted to photography. When the right chosen place, beautiful light and ideal moment find each other, the photo is born. The most important is to find this place, get the light at last and do not miss the moment. It seems to me sometimes I'm able to do this or I am wrong, perhaps. The judges are you - the Viewers! Once my child dreams returned and I was carried away by the radio controlled models. By the way, for that moment of time I chose one of the least spread and the most complicated streams in this country - radio controlled helicopters. I trained by myself without any trainers. Now I don't remember how many helicopters had been broken by me but one day I was bored to launch a model in the air just for fun. Occasionally, in the Internet I found the site of a company which shoots aerial sciences for every second Hollywood blockbuster. After that my hobby began to have a practical interest. I wanted to be able to shoot and make video using the radio controlled models. But I did not succeed at once; it took me 3 years of experiments with different kind of constructions to have good results. In spring of 2010 Oleg Gaponyuk proposed me to try to shoot the first sphere from a helicopter model. To our surprise AirPano's team could put together the results of three shootings and Moscow Virtual Tour appeared. However, we had to delay next launches for a long period of time because of the helicopter's breakdown. In the beginning of 2011 Oleg offered to join AirPano's team in order to accept the challenge of shooting spherical panoramas with the new technical opportunities. I hope my knowledge and experience can give to the project new unreachable for real helicopters angles and places of shooting... I am an author of the blog (http://rccam.livejournal.com) about the methods of aerial shooting from the radio controlled models in which you can find our "traditional" photos. |
